Rachel Weingart, undergraduate, BSW, LSW, Fall 2008 - Spring 2009
Rachel completed her field placement at Stark County Department of Job and Family Services and will start working for them in July 2010. Rachel has a long-time interest in child welfare having served both as a foster parent and a trained community advocate for children in the foster care system. Ms. Weingart was also the BSW Student Representative to the Ohio Chapter of NASW and the student keynote speaker for the spring 2009 graduation at UA. Rachel will be graduating from Case Western University with her MSSA in July 2010.
Rachel is the proud mother of two adult children. She enjoys gardening, music, refinishing furniture, reading, hiking, biking, and anything else outdoors. Rachel is very excited to be part of the University Partnership Program for Child Welfare Workers.
